Simon on The Streets needs YOU!
I am really happy to be running the Rub Burrow Leeds Marathon this year with the support of Simon on The Streets. I’ve run a couple of marathons before, but never as part of a charity team. They are providing great moral support, and will be there on the day with a brew and a leg rub. And honestly, I don’t know what else a man could want.
All I have to do is run 42.2km (yeah, I am metric, deal with it!) on 12th May.
All you have to do is sponsor me! I would like to raise at least £500 for the charity, and hopefully a little bit more. I’ve done all sorts of silly endurance stuff over the last few years and never asked for sponsorship, so this is the one!
All Simon on The Streets have to do is take that money and use it to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in our society. They have been working with rough sleepers and sofa surfers throughout Leeds and Bradford for 25 years. They’re a great bunch of people who are doing wonderful work.
